Font Grill - converting your handwriting into a font file

You can have your handwriting converted to a TrueType font for use on your computer.

3 Steps

  • 1. Complete a handwriting form.
  • 2. Send it to Font Grill (how and where to send it is on the form).
  • 3. Pay for the font (select a payment option, below).

The processing time varies, but on average it takes 3 days for a standard font and a week for a cursive (joined) font.

If you want something that's not listed here (an italic or bold version), then email me and ask.

Sample Handwriting Fonts

Please pay attention to the type of pen you use to complete the form. I recommend a fine-point pen for the handwriting font, such as razor-point felt-tip or a quality ball-point.

Standard Handwriting

This service provides you with a font containing the standard set of characters (all the characters on a standard US keyboard, upper- and lowercase).
This is for non-joined characters only - use the cursive option for letters that connect.
Reduced Handwriting
$30.00

This service provides you with a font containing only uppercase letters A-Z, numbers 0-9, and minimal punctuation.
This is for printed characters only.

Cursive Handwriting
$90.00

This service provides you with a font containing the standard set of characters.
"Cursive" does not refer to the style of each letter.
It means letters that join (i.e. connected for each word).
